Rocky Patel Opening High-End Cigar Lounge
Rocky Patel Cigars is entering the cigar lounge business. Burn by Rocky Patel, a high-end cigar lounge that can hold up to 300 people, opens for business on November 6 in Naples, Florida. The venture has been in the works for nearly two years.
"Burn is an evolution in cigar lounges," said Rocky Patel. "We tried to make it an environment where a cigar smoker not only gets an education about cigars, but wine, brandies, Champagne and spirits. We'll have a staff that's fully trained in the best cigars, wines and spirits in the world."
While the cigar lounge will feature all of Rocky Patel's cigars (including The Edge, Rocky Patel 15th Anniversary and Decade) the cigar bar will also stock his competitor's smokes. "I think there are a lot of great cigars made out there," said Patel. "If you're a purveyor of the fine things in life you can't just limit it to my things."
Patel said he has also invited some of his colleagues in the industry to make limited-edition Burn cigars, for sale only at the lounge.
Burn by Rocky Patel will have a full bar, serving high-end spirits and wines, and will also have mobile carts so mixologists can prepare drinks right at a smoker's seat. Patel said the lounge wouldn't serve food, but would have cigar dinners catered by neighboring restaurants.
