Partagas Anniversary Cigar Celebrates 170 Years

The Partagas brand celebrates its 170th anniversary and General Cigar honors the occasion with the Partagas Aniversario, a limited-edition smoke.
Rolled with a high-priming, proprietary Cameroon wrapper in the Dominican Republic, the Partagas Aniversario is a four-country blend consisting of a Cuban-seed Connecticut binder and a filler blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco (one of which is the Gurdian variety, also exclusive to General).
The cigar comes in three sizes: Salomone, at 7 1/4 inches by 54 ring; Toro, 6 by 54; and Robusto, 5 by 50. They'll retail for $15.99 to $17.99 once they hit the market in October, though the cigars will be previewed at the IPR trade show.
