Alec Bradley’s Chunky Sampler Coming For Father’s Day

If your father is a fan of thick, heavy-ring-gauge cigars, then Alec Bradley has created the perfect gift for dad. The family-owned company is celebrating Father’s Day this year with a limited-edition sampler of hefty smokes, and they’re expected to reach retailers by the end of May.
The “Taste of the World Chunk” sampler contains eight cigars offered in four different brands: Alec & Bradley Gatekeeper. There will be two cigars of each brand, all of which were made in the company’s Chunk vitola—a short, fat size measuring 4 1/4 inches by 60 ring gauge. This is the first time that the Alec & Bradley Kintsugi or Gatekeeper have ever been rolled in this format.
The collection was created in secret by second-generation cigarmakers Alec and Bradley Rubin originally as a gift for their father Alan, who founded the company in 1996 and named it after his sons.
“The Chunk’s size and shape arguably make it the ‘dad bod’ of cigars,” the brothers noted in a t statement. “The sampler was a huge hit with our dad, so we decided to produce them for other families to experience the same joy we did.”
Production for the Chunk sampler is limited to 2,000 glossy lacquered boxes and will have a suggested retail price of $74.95 for the set.
“As a dad, I couldn’t be prouder of what Alec and Bradley have achieved,” Alan Rubin stated. “I'm honored that we can share these eight special cigar moments with other families.”
