Avo Improvisation 2022 Now in Shops, Final Release From the Series

It’s the end of an era. The Avo Improvisation Series, which Davidoff of Geneva started in 2015, has come to a close with the release of the new Avo Improvisation 2022. This is the tenth and final act of the jazzy, limited-edition line, and shipped to retailers late last week.
There are two different blends for this release, almost something of a double encore. Inside the black and gold boxes, the cigars are arranged in an alternating pattern of light and dark wrappers, reminiscent of the black and white keys of a piano.
The Avo Improvisation 2022 White consists of an Ecuador Connecticut wrapper with Dominican binder and fillers, whereas the Avo Improvisation 2022 Black is rolled with a much darker wrapper (also from Ecuador), a Mexican binder and a mix of Dominican and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. The cigars are rolled in the Dominican Republic at the OK Cigars factory.
Called Robusto Grandes, both cigars measure 5 1/2 inches by 55 ring gauge and have a suggested retail price of $16 each. Only 1,500 boxes of 22 cigars are slated for the U.S. market.
The Avo Improvisation series first kicked off in 2015 to commemorate the birthday (March 22) of the brand’s late founder, musician and cigar-lover Avo Uvezian, who ed away in 2017.
