Avo Syncro Caribe Shipping This Week
A new line of cigars from Davidoff of Geneva’s Avo Syncro series is heading to retailers in a few days, and it’s named for the Caribbean tobacco-growing regions of the Dominican Republic. Called Avo Syncro Caribe, retailers can expect the cigars to arrive by August 12.
The Avo Syncro Caribe is made up of tobacco from the Caribbean, Central America and South America with a Dominican wrapper, an Ecuadoran binder and filler from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
Made in the Dominican Republic at the Oettinger Kelner (OK) Cigar Factory, the new Avos are offered in three sizes: Robusto, measuring 5 inches by 50 ring gauge ($10.90); Toro, 6 by 52 ($11.90); and Special Toro, 6 by 60 ($12.90). Each comes in a brightly colored, 20-count box meant to evoke the laid-back, breezy Caribbean lifestyle. According to Davidoff, the cigars were blended to be medium to full-bodied in strength.
Avo Syncro Caribe is the fourth installment of the Avo Syncro brand, which started in 2015 with the Avo Syncro Nicaragua, followed by the Avo Syncro Fogata the next year and the Syncro Ritmo in 2017.
