Casa Magna XV Anniversary Now Shipping

Dominican cigarmaker Quesada Cigars is celebrating 15 years of its Casa Magna brand with a limited-edition smoke called Casa Magna XV Anniversary and it started shipping to retailers today.
Made in only one size, the Casa Magna XV Anniversary Toro measures 6 inches by 54 ring gauge and is intended to be a stronger version of the already bold Casa Magna Colorado line.
The Casa Magna Colorado Robusto is the back in 2008.
The new cigar features the same Nicaraguan filler and binder as the original but with a different wrapper, a Habano 2000 leaf from Ecuador (the regular line’s cover leaf is Nicaraguan). It has a suggested retail price of $15 each.
Production is limited to 3,500 boxes of 15, or 52,500 cigars total, with 2,000 boxes allocated for the U.S. market.
The Casa Magna XV Anniversary is expected to ship to European retailers by early November and to the Asian market by the end of the year.
The Casa Magna is produced in the Dominican Republic at Quesada’s Tabacos de Exportación Inc. (TABADEX) factory.
