Cigars International Opens Second Texas Location

Retail giant Cigars International has opened a new superstore in Fort Worth, Texas, making this the retailer’s second location in the Lone Star State and fifth brick-and-mortar shop in the United States.
Built to resemble a tobacco barn you’d see in the Connecticut River Valley, Cigars International Fort Worth spans a total of 8,000 square feet and will include a full-service bar and lounge, as well as a private event space. An outdoor patio area provides an additional 3,000 square feet and includes three outdoor fire pits for brisk weather. WiFi and USB ports for charging electronics will be available for customer use throughout the store.
“We offer a welcoming, educational environment, so that everyone of legal smoking age can enjoy the pleasure of a handmade cigar and the camaraderie of fellow smokers,” said Mat Cook, Cigars International’s director of retail operations.
Cigars International said in a press release that all of the store’s employees have been trained in compliance with federal, state and local regulations for Covid-19. Due to these restrictions, the store’s capacity is currently limited to 50 percent.
Once the restrictions have been lifted, the in-store bar will be open and a grand opening event will be announced.
The new store is located at 12853 Cabela Drive in Fort Worth.
Cigars International is owned by Danish tobacco company Scandinavian Tobacco Group.
