Craig Reynolds to Step Down at STG Next Year

Craig Reynolds, who currently serves as the executive vice president of global handmade cigars for Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG), will be leaving his position next year. He also serves as the president of internet and catalog retail giant Cigars International (a subsidiary of STG).
“My contract expires in May 2020,” Reynolds tells Cigar Aficionado.
Reynolds was named STG’s executive vice president of global handmade cigars in November 2015. Though he plans on retiring next year, Reynolds says he may remain with STG in an advisory role.
“We have been talking about me staying on in a consulting capacity, but nothing has been decided as of yet,” Reynolds explains.
A replacement for Reynolds has not been named. Reynolds says the company will make an announcement regarding leadership changes later this year or early next year.
“We will be making an announcement in Q4 [or] Q1 2020,” Reynolds says.
