Crux Epicure Gets a Gordo

Crux Cigar Co. is adding a new thick size to its regular-production Epicure line and it’s shipping to retailers now.
The new Crux Epicure Gordo, measuring 6 inches by 60 ring gauge, is the thickest size in the line and is made with the same blend as the rest of the smokes in the Crux Epicure brand—all-Nicaraguan tobacco save for the Ecuador Connecticut wrapper. The cigar has a suggested retail price of $12.50.
According to the company, the Gordo came as a result of customer demand. The maduro version of Crux Epicure received a Gordo size earlier this year in February.
The new Gordo brings Crux Epicure to five regular-production sizes.
Like the rest of the brand, the Crux Epicure Gordo is made at Plasencia Cigars in Estelí, Nicaragua and comes packaged in 20-count boxes, which consist of two packages of five cigars and 10 singles, or in refillable “bricks” of twenty single cigars.
