Drew Estate Adds Limited Undercrown Shade Perfecto

A new Undercrown Shade vitola will be heading to cigar retailers this fall, but the limited-edition smokes may be hard to get. The Undercrown Shade Suprema is a perfecto that measures 6 inches by 54 ring gauge at its fattest point.
The blend remains the same as the other sizes in the Undercrown Shade line: an Ecuador Connecticut wrapper, Ecuador Sumatra binder and a filler mix of Dominican Criollo ’98, Nicaraguan Corojo and Criollo tobaccos.
According to Drew Estate, the perfecto Suprema is a touch bolder than other Undercrown Shade cigars. In both Cigar Aficionado and Undercrown Shade has performed fairly well, with many of the sizes rated as mild- to medium-bodied in our reviews.
Undercrown Shade Suprema will come packed in five-count boxes that carry a suggested retail price of $47.99, or $9.60 per cigar, and will begin hitting stores in September.
