Drew Estate Brings Back Herrera Esteli Lancero

After five years the Herrera Esteli Lancero is back. First released in 2014, the limited-edition cigar—now called Herrera Esteli Habano Edicion Limitada Lancero—will be on display at the TAA trade show taking place next week in the Dominican Republic. The cigar, though, has already started shipping to Drew Diplomat Retailers.
“The lancero is a notoriously difficult vitola to master, both from a blending and rolling perspective,” said Drew Estate master blender Willy Herrera. “We took our time here at the factory when we decided to re-release this cigar so that every aspect from flavor to construction is perfection.”
The Herrera Esteli Habano Edicion Limitada Lancero is rolled with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Honduran binder and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. Measuring 7 inches by 38 ring gauge, the Lancero retails for $12.46 and ships in 15-count boxes. The cigars are rolled at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate, in Estelí, Nicaragua.
The original Herrera Esteli Edicion Limitada Lancero scored 90 points in the October 2014 Issue of Cigar Aficionado.
While the Lancero will be presented at TAA, it will not be exclusive to retail of the organization. The cigar will be available at Drew Diplomat retailers.
