General Cigar To Distribute Redemption From El Titan De Bronze

El Titan de Bronze, the small cigar factory in Miami’s Little Havana, has a new line called Redemption and General Cigar Co. will be the brand’s exclusive distributor.
“This is the right time, with the right people, and I feel so confident in them,” says factory owner Sandy Cobas. “After so many years, so much hard work with my family, this is the first time we will be able to get the amazing work of our artisans to people all over the country.”
Started in 1995, El Titan de Bronze is one of Little Havana’s Partagas de Bronce last year.
While the factory already produced a Redemption line, this is an entirely new Redemption blend that consists of a sun-grown, Ecuador Habano wrapper, Nicaraguan binder from Estelí and Nicaraguan filler from Estelí and Jalapa. It comes in three sizes: Corona (at 5 5/8 inches by 46 ring), Robusto (5 by 50) and Toro (6 by 52). They have suggested retail prices ranging from $15.99 to $17.99 each, and are packaged in 10-count boxes.
It should be noted that Redemption is the only cigar with the El Titan de Bronze name that General is distributing. All of El Titan de Bronze’s other local brands are sold directly through El Titan de Bronze.
Cobas will be at this weekend’s PCA trade show at General’s booth where the cigars will be on display. They are not expected to start shipping until July.
“It started with the Cohiba project,” Cobas says. “And now, to be going to the show with General Cigar, sitting at a table with the big players where I always wanted to be, I’m so excited.”
