Gregory Mottola Named Managing Editor of Cigar Aficionado Magazine

Gregory Mottola has been promoted to managing editor of Cigar Aficionado magazine.
Mottola ed Cigar Aficionado 14 years ago in April 2005. Originally hired as the magazine’s tasting coordinator, he has taken on increasing responsibility during his tenure, and has long served as one of the tasters on the magazine’s that reviews cigars. He is the magazine’s lead writer on the cigar industry. His previous title was senior editor.
“Greg is an important part of the team that produces Cigar Aficionado,” said editor and publisher Marvin R. Shanken. “His ion and expertise for cigars is a big part of what makes the magazine such a success.”
