La Gloria Cubana Serie S Draped In Dark, Mexican Wrapper

For the first time in the history of the La Gloria Cubana brand, the cigars will be available in a dark, Mexican San Andrés wrapper. Called Serie S, the new line is scheduled to ship in mid-July.
Showcasing the dark cover leaf from Mexico, the La Gloria Cubana Serie S is made with a Nicaraguan binder around a filler blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican tobacco. It’s made in the Dominican Republic at El Credito, a rolling gallery located within the General Cigar Dominicana factory that’s dedicated entirely to the La Gloria Cubana brand.
In keeping with the large ring gauges, Serie S comes in three thick sizes: Robusto Gordo, measuring 5 1/2 inches by 56 ring gauge; the 6-by-60 Gigante; and Presidente, at 7 by 56. The cigars retail for $7.99, $8.49 and $8.99, respectively. All sizes are boxed in 24-count slide-lid cabinets lacquered in a dark shade of black.
Forged Cigar Co., a subsidiary of parent company Scandinavian Tobacco Group.
