La Palina 125 Años Shipping Now, KB Next Week

The month of December is kicking off with two new releases from La Palina that first appeared at the La Palina 125 Años, which started shipping today, and two new sizes for the regular-production KB line, which retailers can expect early next week.
La Palina 125 Años celebrates the company’s 125th anniversary. It comes in a nineteenth-century style Tabolisa factory in Nicaragua, and consists entirely of Nicaraguan tobacco. Only 300 jars are being produced.
La Palina’s Bill Paley on the side of the box with his eyes Xed out, suggesting the full-bodied smoke will “kill Bill.”
The new sizes, called Part Three and Part Four are made with a Honduran wrapper from the Trojes region, Honduran binder and fillers from Nicaragua and Honduras. It’s the same blend as the rest of the line but with a little more ligero to adjust for the larger ring gauges and maintain the power that KBs are known for.
Part Three is a robusto-sized smoke that measures 5 by 52 and has a suggested retail price of $10.25. At 6 by 54, Part Four comes in a toro format and will retail for $11.50. Both ship in boxes of 30.
Like the first two editions of the KB line, the new sizes are made at the Raices Cubanas factory in Honduras.
