Executive Changes At Tabacalera USA

Javier Estades, head of Tabacalera USA, one of the largest cigar companies in the world, announced a series of changes this morning in three of the company’s top leadership positions. The moves affect multiple subsidiaries of the company, including cigar giant Casa de Montecristo and online retailer JR Cigars. The changes will go into effect September 4.
“It is important to note, however, that while we are making these moves among our units to promote growth and diversity,” Estades said in a press release, “these entities will continue to work independently from each other.”

Moro’s previous position, CEO at JR Cigars, is being filled by Brad Winstead, who is moving over from the same role at Casa de Montecristo. JR Cigars is one of America’s biggest cigar retailers, with a massive online presence as well as brick-and-mortar stores. Winstead, who became CEO of Casa de Montecristo in June 2019, has been with Altadis U.S.A. for 16 years, ing the company in 2007 as a territory manager.
Sherri Sieminski, the national retail director at Casa de Montecristo, will take on the role of interim head of that organization, which represents 25 stores and lounges across the United States, including company-owned stores and licensed-based partnerships. Sieminski ed Altadis U.S.A. in 2016.
Estades is president and CEO of Tabacalera USA, and has worked in the cigar industry for more than 20 years.
