Limited Villiger San’Doro Diademas Ship Today
In celebration of the Colorado blend.
The double-tapered Diademas measure 6 inches by 58 ring gauge and retail for $15 apiece. Only 300 boxes were produced.
Made at the Joya de Nicaragua factory in Estelí, both versions of the Diadema are blended with Nicaraguan binders and fillers. The Claro is rolled in an Ecuador Connecticut wrapper while the stronger Colorado is wrapped in a darker leaf of Ecuador Habano.
“The Villiger San’Doro Colorado has been the only cigar in our portfolio to be included two times as part of Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 cigars of the year,” said René Castaneda, president of Villiger Cigars North America. “So we wanted to share this blend in a traditional but special vitola such as the Diadema. At the same time, we want the cigar smokers to enjoy the Claro blend as well.”
The Villiger San’Doro Colorado Churchill was named the No. 21 cigar of 2016.
