My Favorite Cigar

Steve Tasker • Radio Host • CAO Flathead V660 Carb
It is fitting that a man who made his bones as a David battling amongst Goliaths should prefer the challenge of behemoth-sized smokes. Steve Tasker played his 12-season NFL career at five-foot-nine, 180 pounds, yet became one of the greatest special-teams players of all time. Now, he has become the face of cigars in Buffalo where he played for the Bills for 12 years and remains a vital part of the team and community today.
Tasker enjoys cigars with his four sons. “The one we go to often is the CAO Flathead 660,” he says. But he doesn’t limit himself to just the 6-inch-60-ring cigar. “If the Bills ever go and win a Super Bowl, you can bet I’m whipping out a 770 [7-inch-70-ring] for a victory cigar.”
When the Bills surprised all by making it to the conference championship in 2020, Tasker was at the forefront of the notorious devotion of the “Bills Mafia” fanbase. While narrating a hype video for the first playoff game, he matched the energy by doing it with a cigar in hand. Going viral, the clip sparked a Bills video trend starring Tasker and his cigar. “If I’m at a Bills home game, someone always comes up to me and gives me a cigar,” he says. “I absolutely love it.”
