New La Libertad Shipping To Retailers Today

Villiger Cigars has reblended and repackaged its La Libertad line, and the new version is on its way to cigar shops now.
Previously made at the own Nicaraguan factory in Estelí and gave it an entirely new blend consisting of a dark, Nicaraguan Criollo wrapper, Dominican binder and hearty filler of Nicaraguan tobacco. According to Villiger, the cigars are blended to be medium-to-full in strength. The previous blend was discontinued in December of 2020.
The new La Libertads come in three sizes: Corona at 5 3/4 inches by 43 ring gauge, Robusto at 5 by 52 and a 6-by-54 Gran Toro. They’re packaged in newly designed 20-count boxes and retail for $7.50 to $8.50 per cigar.
La Libertad is distributed by Villiger Cigars North America, the subsidiary of Villiger Söhne AG, a European company known for its machine-made cigars.
