New Oktoberfest and Quesada 1974 Coming Soon
A pair of new releases from Quesada 1974. Retailers can expect both to start shipping this September.
The German-themed Oktoberfest cigar was created in 2011 as a seasonal release meant to be paired with the Mexican San Andrés wrapper paired with Dominican binder and fillers. According to Manuel Quesada of Quesada Cigars, the changed blend was a result of customer . The company told Cigar Aficionado that the new cigars are medium in strength.
Oktoberfest 10th Anniversary will come in three sizes: Das Boot, a torpedo measuring 6 inches by 52 ring gauge ($9.90); Uber, 6 by 65 ($10.80); and Bavarian, 5 1/2 by 52 ($9.50). All three cigars will ship in boxes of 10.
The regular production Quesada 1974 line, which debuted in Spain in early 2019 to celebrate Manuel Quesada’s 45 years in business, is getting a new size. The Toro will bring the line up to five vitolas. The cigar measures 6 by 52, has a suggested retail price of $9.25 and will ship in boxes of 10.
All of these cigars are made at Quesada’s Tabacos de Exportación Inc. (TABADEX) factory in the Dominican Republic.
