Tatuaje’s Full-Bodied Fausto Gets Thick New Sizes

Tatuaje’s most full-bodied brand is getting a pair of new sizes, and they’re not small. When Tatuaje brand owner Pete Johnson introduced the Fausto line in 2011, it was marketed as his strongest blend to date. Now, he’s adding two thick cigars, both of which will be appearing at next month’s PCA trade show in New Orleans. The cigars are expected to ship to retailers in early May.
Produced in Nicaragua at the ligero tobacco from Estelí and Jalapa.
While the two new cigars share the same thickness—60 ring gauge—they are drastically different in of length: the shorter FT110 measures 4 3/8 inches, and the longer FT187 measures 7 3/8 inches. They will have suggested retail prices of $11 and $13, respectively, and come packaged in 12-count slide-lid boxes.
The Fausto FT110 and FT187 bring the line up to seven sizes.
In 2018 the Tatuaje Fausto FT153 Toro earned the No. 14 spot in Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25.
