Timeless Panamericana and Supreme Headed to Retail
Fans of the discontinued Nat Sherman cigar brands are getting two more lines back. New Panamericana and Timeless Supreme, which should arrive at cigar stores by the end of next week.
Timeless Panamericana, which ships in boxes of 10, is made with Ecuador Sumatra wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and fillers from both Costa Rica and Nicaragua. The line will come in the following sizes: Julieta, 7 inches by 48 ring gauge ($14.50); Gordo, 6 by 60 ($14); Epicure, 5 by 50 ($13); and Belicoso Fino, 5 1/2 by 52 ($12.95).
The box-pressed Timeless Supreme line of Nicaraguan puros come in boxes of 21, which is extremely unusual for the cigar business. Supreme comes in four sizes: 660, measuring 6 by 60 ($12); 749, 7 by 50 ($11); 652T, 6 by 52 ($11.50); and 554, 5 by 54 ($10.50).
Both cigar brands are made in Nicaragua by the Plasencia family, and each has a secondary band reading “Exclusively for Ferio Tego.”
“We’re grateful to the Plasencia family and the entire Plasencia team in Estelí for working so hard to get these blends back into production, exactly as they were,” said Michael Herklots, who co-founded pair of limited-edition cigars as its first launch followed by the return of Timeless Prestige and Sterling.
