Underrated By Luciano Cigars Gets A Thick New Size
Underrated brand with its largest size yet, a grande. Created in partnership with five-time NBA champion Ron Harper, the brand was released earlier this year at the PCA trade show. The thick new size is expected to start shipping to retailers by the second week of August.
Measuring 6 inches long by 60 ring gauge, the new cigar is called Summer Breeze. According to the company, the name was inspired by Harper and Meirelles smoking samples of the new size as they played golf together when a refreshing breeze blew in at the 10th hole.
The thick cigar is made at the Luciano Tabacos S.A. factory in Nicaragua, and consists of a medio tiempo from Pueblo Nuevo in the filler as well. Medio tiempo are the small but powerful leaves that sometimes grow at the top of a tobacco plant.
Summer Breeze comes in 20-count boxes and has a suggested retail price of $9.99 per cigar. It brings the Underrated line to six sizes.
