Venture 1492 From Warped Offers Client Services

Kyle Gellis of Warped Cigars is no stranger to making cigar brands, but now he’s adding a new facet to his business—consulting and private labels. His plan is to help fledgling cigar companies improve their business, or assist newcomers who aspire to break into the business altogether. The new subsidiary, Venture 1492, offers consulting and retail distribution services that Gellis says will help create a path to success.
“In the rapidly growing cigar market, breaching the door of tobacconists is becoming saturated,” Gellis explains. “We at Venture 1492 have the ability to speed up the process for emerging and established brands looking to expand.”
Gellis and Venture 1492 will also offer production, specifically the manufacturing of private-label cigars. Gellis tells Cigar Aficionado that, depending on the needs of the client, he will develop third-party brands utilizing his factory resources, which include facilities in Nicaragua, Miami and the Dominican Republic. Venture 1492 will also offer such as navigating the waters of FDA regulation, tobacco sourcing and blend consultation “from concept to finished box.”
Because Venture 1492 is treated as a separate entity from Warped, the service-oriented company has its own website at www.venture1492.com.
