Ashton Adds Two Sizes To La Aroma De Cuba Connecticut Line

When Ashton Distributors Inc. launched the Nicaraguan La Aroma de Cuba Connecticut in 2023, it came in seven sizes, but none of them were a Belicoso or Double Corona. Now that’s changed. The company is shipping the two new sizes this week, ahead of the PCA trade show starting on April 11 in New Orleans where these cigars will also be shown.
Like the rest of the cigars in the brand, the new sizes are made in Nicaragua by the Garcia family at My Father Cigars. Besides the Connecticut-seed wrapper from Ecuador, the entire blend consists of Nicaraguan tobacco grown by the Garcias on their family-owned farms. According to Ashton, every leaf of tobacco in entubado style and finished with a Cubanesque, triple cap.
The Belicoso measures 5 1/2 inches by 52 ring gauge and has a suggested retail price of $9.25 each. At 7 1/2 by 54, the large Double Corona retails for $9.75. Both come in 25-count boxes.
