Macanudo Gold makes its yearly return next month, and the extra-mild brand is being released in eight sizes, including the new Gold Nugget, a short, fat smoke made just for 2023.
Starting on the first of May, General Cigar will be sending out shipments of its annual Macanudo Gold, which showcases a light, Macanudo Café cigars, as they were culled from lower positions on the tobacco plant, making them even lighter in color and body due to less sun exposure. Underneath is a Mexican binder and filler tobacco from Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
Made in the Dominican Republic at the General Cigar Dominicana factory, Macanudo Gold is offered in the following sizes and suggested retail prices:
- Hampton Court Tubo, 5 1/2 inches by 42 ring gauge ($11.79)
- Lord Nelson, 7 by 49 ($12.29)
