Selected Tobacco Releases Elegant Atabey Tubos
Selected Tobacco is looking to take your tubo game to the next level. The traditional aluminum tube is getting an upgrade with the release of the Atabey Duendes Tubes, which are torpedo shaped and capped with golden peaks.
The Atabey Duendes is a 6 1/8 inches by 54 ring gauge torpedo-shaped toro. As with the rest of the Atabey portfolio, the Duendes features a blend with an Ecuadoran shade wrapper, binder tobacco from the Dominican Republic and filler tobaccos from Peru and Nicaragua. According to its owner, Nelson Alfonso, Selected Tobacco typically ages its Atabey cigars for five years in a cedar-lined room after rolling. The cigars are made at Tabacos de Costa Rica factory in Santiago de Puriscal, Costa Rica.
The Duendes isn’t a new addition to the United Cigar retailers. United distributes all portfolios under the Selected Tobacco umbrella.
