La Aurora S.A. wanted to create a cigar to honor its founder, Eduardo León Jimenes, and his brother Herminio León Jimenes, the man that kept alive the Leon’s family legacy and tradition when Eduardo died in 1937. Released in 1987, León Jimenes uses Connecticut wrapper for both the core line and the Prestige line.
