Quesada
The Quesada family has rolled cigars in the Dominican Republic since 1974, but it wasn't until 2009 that they released a cigar brand that beared their name. The limited-edition Quesada 35th Anniversary was well-received, and the family has released a slew of successful lines since then. These include lines such as Quesada Tributo (2010), which honors four family who were killed in a tragic plane crash, and Quesada 40th Annivesary (2014). Not all Quesada cigars are commemorative, though, as evidenced by Oktoberfest, which were created with the intention of pairing with marzen-style beers, and Reserva Privada, a cigar whose blend includes tobacco from a 1997 bumper crop.
