ALEC BRADLEY PRENSADO ROBUSTO

Tasting Note
All readers of Cigar Aficionado should know the Alec Bradley Prensado brand. The Churchill size was named Cigar of the Year for 2011, the crowning achievement to date for the then 16-year-old Alec Bradley cigar company from Dania, Florida. Prensados are serious smokes, made in Honduras from an all-Central American blend of tobaccos, and they are gorgeous. Construction on the Prensado line rivals that of almost any other cigar. The smokes are finished with pressed, oily wrappers grown in the Trojes region of southern Honduras. The Robusto hits the palate with a flavorful interplay of cocoa powder and vanilla balanced by cedar and hints of dried fruit, making for a tasty smoking experience.
