Tasting Note

La Flor Dominicana is defined by its ligero tobacco, grown on Litto Gomez’s La Canela farm in the dry, hot Cibao Valley of the Dominican Republic. The climate helps produce tobacco with strong, spicy, concentrated flavor that’s further emphasized by the company’s signature, wedge-shaped Chisel cigar. La Flor Dominicana’s Double Ligero Chiselito Maduro offers a miniaturized version of this distinct shape, but with power and intensity to match. Small and intense, the cigar delivers prominent notes of toasted coconut, wet leather, raisin and dark chocolate. The raw power of the ligero tobaccos is rounded out by a dark, Connecticut broadleaf wrapper.
