Alec Bradley Project 40 Maduro Shipping This Week

At this time of year, people across the United States traditionally come together for the pleasure of spending time with loved ones, sharing a great meal and then kicking back to smoke a cigar after a healthy dose of tryptophan (that’s the stuff in turkey that supposedly makes you sleepy). Just in time for Thanksgiving and Black Friday, the Alec Bradley Project 40 Maduro line has begun shipping to retailers today.
The second installment in Alec Bradley’s “Experimental Series,” the Project 40 Maduro follows in the highly rated footsteps of the natural version of 2019 Best Buys list.
The Project 40 line is based on a motivational principle where each individual is in control of their own happiness. According to Project 40, happiness is based on 50 percent genetics, 10 percent circumstance and 40 percent initiative. Whether you trust that formula or not, it’s hard to argue with Alec Bradley’s notion that happiness can be found in a cigar sold for an affordable price, and all the cigars in the Project 40 Maduro line will retail for less than $7.
Shipping in 24-count boxes, the line comes in three vitolas named after their dimensions: 05.50, which measures 5 inches by 50 ring gauge ($5.75); 06.52, 6 by 52 ($6.25); and 06.60, 6 by 60 ($6.50).
Produced at the J. Fuego Cigar Co. De Nicaragua factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, the cigars are rolled with a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, Brazilian Habano binder and Nicaraguan fillers.
