Cuban Montecristo Supremo Edición Limitada Debuts in Italy
The Montecristo Supremos Edición Limitada 2019, a 5 inch by 55 ring gauge cigar, has been released at a special event in the Lanciano Forum in Castelraimondo, Italy. The launch party was attended by 450 cigar lovers and was hosted by Habanos S.A. as well as Diadema s.p.a., Italy’s distributor of Cuban cigars.

Although the cigar just made its debut, it will probably be many more months before Habanos ships them in any quantity to its global retail outlets.
This isn’t the first time an Edición Limitada was unveiled in Italy. The Romeo y Julieta Capuletos Edición Limitada for 2016 had its release party in Verona.
Montecristo is the largest-selling Cuban brand, with the No. 4 as Montecristo’s best-selling size. The brand is best known for its iconic No. 2, a torpedo-shaped cigar that is highly sought after by connoisseurs around the world and was named the 2013 Cigar of the Year.
