When you are enjoying Sunday dinner with your mother or grandma, you can’t forget the cheese. Diesel Sunday Gravy which they call Pecorino, which began shipping to retailers this week.

Pecorino is an Italian cheese made of sheep’s milk and, while flavorful, is a more affordable alternative to Parmigiano-Reggiano, which falls in line with the Sunday Gravy maxim of releasing cigars that retail for less than $5.

The cigar blend was a collaboration between brand manager Justin Andrews and Mexican San Andrés cover leaf, a Cameroon binder and Nicaraguan Habano fillers grown in the Estelí region.

According to the company, Pecorino is medium-to full bodied. (One hopes that the cigar doesn’t taste like its namesake.)

Diesel Sunday Gravy Pecorino comes in packs of 10 and has a suggested retail price of $4.99 per cigar. The cigars are distributed by Forged Cigar Co., a distribution arm of Diesel’s parent company Scandinavian Tobacco Group.

Pecorino will be available between October to December 2021 or until stock runs out. The next installment of Sunday Gravy is scheduled for release in January 2022.
