Long Live The Queen Gets Maduro Line

Caldwell Cigar Co.’s Long Live the Queen line, which is made in the Dominican Republic, will be available in a maduro wrapper. The cigars were shown at this year’s PCA trade show in March and are expected to reach retailers later this month.
In 2022, Caldwell Cigar Co. released Long Live the Queen, a line of smokes with a royal theme. The Cameroon wrapper of the core line), an Indonesian Sumatra binder and filler from the Dominican Republic and United States (though Caldwell won’t specify exactly which U.S. tobacco is being used).
According to the company, the cigars are medium to full in of strength.
Long Live the Queen Maduro is rolled at the new Tabacalera William Ventura factory, which was built after the original burned down in 2022. It’s the first new release by Caldwell from the rebuilt factory.
The line is offered in the following sizes: Queen’s Crest, measuring 5 1/2 inches by 46 ring gauge ($14.20); Queen’s Coronet, 5 by 50 ($14.80); Queen’s Chalice, 6 by 54 ($16); Queen’s Charge, 6 by 60 ($18); and the box-pressed Wild Card, 6 by 52 ($20). Like the original line, Long Live the Queen Maduro is packaged in boxes of 10, but these boxes are black instead of white.
Earlier this year, Caldwell Cigar Co. was acquired by Laudisi Enterprises, a company that specializes in pipes and pipe tobacco. Caldwell founders Robert Caldwell and Juan Jaramillo stayed on as Caldwell’s vice president and director of cigar operations, respectively.
