Warped Moon Garden Returns This Month With Bigger Size

It’s been half a decade since Warped has released its limited run of Moon Garden cigars, but brand owner Kyle Gellis decided to bring them back this summer, only this time, in a larger size.
Originally a long, thin, lancero-shaped cigar, this year’s Moon Garden Especial is a toro that measures 5 5/8 inches long by 52 ring gauge. With its Corojo ’99 wrapper, this all-Nicaraguan blend is the same, save for some stronger tobaccos and more medio tiempo in the filler to for the thicker ring gauge.
“I added more medio tiempo to the blend to add an abundance of depth and weight on the palate and utilized higher-priming fillers,” Gellis says.
Just like the original, this new Moon Garden is made in Nicaragua by Aganorsa Leaf and consists of tobacco all grown by Aganorsa Leaf as well. The cigars come in 20-count boxes and will retail for $16 apiece. Gellis expects to be shipping them to retailers by the end of this month. Only 1,000 boxes are being produced.
