Viaje
When Viaje started in 2008, it was anchored by two traditional core lines—Platino and Oro. Owned by Andre Farkas, Viaje really started to gain traction after his Viaje Oro Reserva VOR No. 5 scored 95 points and claimed the No. 2 spot on Cigar Aficionado's Top 25 Cigars of 2010 list. Farkas briefly expanded production of his brand and also started releasing a series of small-batch and limited-edition lines such as Stuffed Turkey, Skull & Bones and the Daisy Cutter. Soon, customers began buying these limited lines more than Farkas' core lines, and so he decided in 2012 to focus solely on limited-edition runs.
